Lovedale TVET College is incredibly proud to collaborate with the Ntshingila Group, in their joint mission to reduce unemployment.

Lovedaleโ€™s Work Integrated Learning (WIL) office recently held an induction where thirty Business Studies students from both Alice and King campus were recruited for a 18 month Work Integrated Learning programme. This programme is offered and funded by the Ntshingila Group.

The induction, which included signing contracts, the funder’s expectations, and advice about workplace professional conduct was facilitated by Ntshingila Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Naledi Ntshingila. Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) official, Ndumiso Nzama informed students about the terms and conditions of their contracts.

โ€œWe assist learners so they can complete their trade tests which is a crucial and final step in becoming an artisan. Our skills programmes range from three to six months where students are taught skills and gain practical training. The Ntshingila group has been in existence for six years now, established in 2018. Weโ€™ve been funded by various SETAs for example TETA, Fasset and Agri SETA,โ€ said Naledi Ntshingila.
